The DF40A delivers high performance while being compact and powerful, making it the ideal outboard for a both pleasure and commercial users. A large reduction gear ratio leads to powerful torque for quick acceleration and great top-end speed.

The self-adjusting timing chain is simple, effective and maintenance free. It runs in an oil-bath so it never needs lubricating. It’s equipped with a hydraulic tensioner so remains properly adjusted at all times.

Suzuki’s Lean Burn Fuel Control Technology predicts fuel needs according to operating conditions, the delivers the optimum fuel/air mixture to the engine resulting in greater fuel economy.
