Having just spent 3 days at the Scottish boat show it was obvious that this annual event is getting bigger and better every year.
Though it was as cold as normal at this event for us ( our stand is outside), it was dry and we enjoyed another record number of visitors for the 4th year in a row.
Along with an increased number of boats for sale ( over 130 ranging from £500- 1 million+) there was also lots of other things to do including:
- A trip on Drum the famous Maxi racing yacht
- Helicopter trips @ £30.00 each
- Taster sessions from Seatrek training and the RYA
- Free safety checks including your life jacket from RNLI
- Clyde-Life Style Marquee which shifts the focus away from boats and cars to artisan talent and luxury goods.
- Pipe Bands & Choirs
- Luxury cars
- various kids attractions
- Stalls selling boating gear and equipment.
All in all, this was a great 3 days with lots to look at and do and this is clearly now the number 1 boating event in the north of England and Scotland.
