Now everyone is getting ready to launch, we have found a really useful checklist from the RLNI, we encourage our customers to read through this
With the new season about to kick off we have also put together a few fuel checks; fuel is one of the major causes of engine issues.
• Do not use any fuel that you may have from last season
• If you have old fuel, clean out your tank thoroughly before replenishing with fresh fuel
• We recommend using a fuel stabiliser
• Fuel should be clear and not look like the picture below
We have some new outboard chandlery items available for sale through our Online Chandlery; jerry cans, outboard covers for 5hp-300hp, an outboard trolley up to 15hp (60kg) and hoisting harnesses up to 15hp.

We’ve also been busy fitting new engines this month. We have fitting; Honda 20hp, Tohatsu 20hp, Tohatsu 50hp and Suzuki 90hp. June is going to be another busy month of fittings for us.
Our OOTM is 9.9hp Suzuki, Long Shaft, Tiller Handle, Recoil Start. This has been a very popular engine model in the run up to the season. They don’t stay with us long when we have them in stock.
